Throughout the next several months, we will begin a four-part series called Leadership Links: My Story. The series will consist of blogs written by AJGA juniors who are members of the Leadership Links Program. These posts will highlight some of the more than 300 juniors who give back to their communities and what motivates them to be involved in the program.

About Leadership Links
Leadership Links is a program that allows the AJGA to further its mission to help develop young men and women by teaching charitable giving skills and service-oriented practices at an early age. This program gives juniors all the tools necessary to donate their time, talent and resources to local charities and the AJGA youth development programs.
Juniors are able to choose from various volunteer opportunities and find one that best suits their needs and availability. Activities include fundraising for local charities to volunteering their time.
Fundraising efforts allow juniors to raise money for a charity of their choice and the AJGA's ACE Grant Program. This program has no administration fees and therefore allows 100% of proceeds to be donated to the charities. Those juniors raising money for a junior golf charity will be eligible for a matching funds grant from the USGA.
