It’s been said time and time again – the AJGA Spring and Summer Traveling Internships are unlike any other experience. Whether you are looking for a job in the golf or sports industry, or just looking for a chance to build your experience and expand your skills, the AJGA guarantees the ultimate fun and unique internship.
Interns have the opportunity to travel the country, visiting top golf courses and resort facilities, and experiencing what the United States has to offer. They meet so many different people – professional golfers and athletes, CEOs and industry leaders, and the wonderful juniors, parents and volunteers who make up the AJGA family. Most importantly, lifelong friendships are formed between internship teammates.
The AJGA Traveling Internship is not for everyone. The hours are long, the travel is extensive and it is a lot of time with a small group of people. However, the benefits greatly outweigh the challenges.
Need proof? We asked the class of 2013 to share what they took from the internship and the best advice they could offer future interns. As you consider an internship with the American Junior Golf Association, hear what our most recent interns had to say on their experience.
