The AJGA returns to Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club for the fourth consecutive year to host the Randy Wise Junior Open.
Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club is no stranger to hosting tournaments and AJGA golfers. The Buick Open called Warwick Hills for more than 50 tournaments. The very first Buick Open was held at this course in 1958, the very last was held in 2009.
Six AJGA alumni have won the Buick Open while it was at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club: Tiger Woods (2002, 2006, 2009), Brian Bateman (2007), Jim Furyk (2003), Billy Mayfair (1998), Justin Leonard (1996), and Woody Austin (1995).
The course record is jointly held at 61 also by two AJGA Alumni and past Buick Open Champions: Tiger Woods and Billy Mayfair.
Awards all around

Twenty players in the field have committed to play collegiate golf after graduation; over half of those will attend schools in Michigan including Michigan State, University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan. Coaches from these schools were out in numbers throughout the week recruiting next generation.
The social activity this week featured the talented Rick Kent who came out to show off his trick shots at the driving range. Kent’s talents ranged from hitting 6-foot drivers, to smashing a golf ball through a box of golf balls. Juniors were encouraged to participate in the fun including hitting trick clubs, higher than average tees and a few magic tricks.
