THREE-PEAT?
15-year-old Jacob Solomon of Dublin, Calif., is aiming for his third-straight AJGA victory. After Jacob won in his second AJGA start at the Junior All-Star at Gainey Ranch, he took home the champion’s trophy only two weeks later in the AJGA Junior at Ruby Hill. Playing in his first event since then, Jacob is only one stoke off the lead. His good friend Miguel Delgado leads heading into the final round. Can Jacob take home three consecutive events in his first season playing in the AJGA, or will his buddy be the one to put a halt to Jacob’s impressive streak?
Jacob also provided a live on-air interview for KMAX-TV on their morning program, “Good Day Sacramento,” before his first round on Tuesday.
